November 11, 2019December 11, 2020 Leanne Elizabeth Photography

16th November 2019 So here is my first blog post! I will start off by saying that I am not a writer, which is probably why I am a photographer. I did love English at school but it was probably more to do with my dishy English teacher haha… I am going to start with… Continue reading Who’s Behind the Camera?

"Is the Spring coming?".
A creative branding session with @piecebyjackson. Amy makes absolutely beautiful handmade home accessories out of tiles and copper, such as plant stands, coasters, candlestick holders and more. It was so much fun doing a storytelling session to see how and where she works, giving her clients a real behind the scenes view 🌿 I also have a mini film in the making too and I can't wait to share! I think I'm going to love doing this and working with other creatives!
Fine Art Albums 🌿 something tangible to take away from your session that you can look at, hold, display and pass down the generations. These are made to last.
H.o.p.e 🌿 wow what a day! The sun shone this afternoon for Boris' announcement and there is hope of us having a wonderful summer 🤞🤞 I may be being overly optimistic but it feels so good to have a plan!!
Lets talk affirmations and about important values... I never really heard of affirmations and was quite skeptical about how much they would work when I had heard of them. Until I was pregnant with my second child and realised I did not want a birth like my first. My first birth wasn't as bad as some, we both came out of it physically well but mentally it massively affected me. I felt completely out of control of my own body and making my own decisions for me and my baby was completely taken out of my hands.
Along with my family photography, I am now starting to work with small businesses. A lot of my families/followers also run their own businesses or are fellow creative people so this seems like a natural step to take and also fits in with my values. I absolutely love working with other creative people and shouting about their passions and businesses that they have put their heart and soul into. It's also kept me busy while I'm currently unable to photograph families 💔
I've actually started reading books for myself at the moment (it's been a while and I have a huge pile of unread books) and have started with @mrsgifletcher Letters to Motherhood. If you haven't read it, I recommend.. its a lovely easy read and definitely makes me feel less alone in my parenting struggles. Her letters to Buddy I can especially relate to... So here is my Sunshine and Showers Boy 🌦️
Happy half term amazing people 💞 I can almost hear a sigh of relief from everyone on here! I don't know about anyone else but if I don't have anything planned to entertain the kiddies, I get a bit anxious! Last night I planned each day with A, just with one thing we are going to do, like a park trip and one thing to play and I feel a lot better. What do you have planned for this week?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets sucked into these role play games?! Honestly, if this one gives anything in life the same effort and love he does for role playing then he will go far. His imagination amazes me everyday.
